It's fascinating to see how children interact with each other.
I know when I go to a church function, I am going to take pictures of the children the whole time because they are the most natural human beings and the most expressive. This works against me in that I need to be careful how I share these photos and thus have limited ways I can share my artwork.
That doesn't stop me from enjoying capturing moments of these little bundles of joy.
Truth be told, these angels teach valuable lessons to me when I watch them playing. One moment they're fighting over a toy, the next they're chasing each other with branches, then they're hitting each other with said branches, followed by running away from the adults together. This all ends in the photo below, something beautiful.
While they might have hurt each other or caused some unhappy feelings in the last hour, each girl still loves the other with all their heart and a child-like fierceness that I admire. They embrace and forget all about their disputes, looking forward to one of the girl's next sleepovers where they'll watch frozen, play with stuffed animals, and eat macaroni and cheese all before 10pm when they'll get grumpy and crash.
It is beautiful the way they behave. Sure, it pushes our buttons, but these sweet girls simply feel big and love big. And that is a lesson worth remembering.
