Do you have a prayer request? The Bible teaches us that prayer is important and that we should use it as a tool to communicate with God.
Luke 18:1 says, "Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to teach them that they should always pray and never become discouraged."
Romans 8:26 says, "In the same way the Spirit also comes to help us, weak as we are. For we do not know how we ought to pray; the Spirit himself pleads with God for us in groans that words cannot express."
Philippians 4:6 says, "Don't worry about anything, but in all your prayers ask God for what you need, always asking him with a thankful heart."
Colossians 4:2 says, "Be persistent in prayer, and keep alert as you pray, giving thanks to God."
Matthew 6:9-13 says, "Pray then like this:“Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."
Our congregation strongly believes in the power of prayer. Through prayer, we are able to connect with God on an intimate level and commune with him personally because of the Holy Spirit in us and prayer as a family is something we seek.
1 Thessalonians 5:11 says, "Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing."
Therefore, we want to lift you up in prayer. Please feel free to share with us a prayer or praise you have and our church will be praying for and with you.
